How to Find a Building's Construction Date - Top I receive many calls from starting consultants wanting know "How do I get a building's date of construction?" It's very easy. (1) Get out your Yellow Pages. (2) Look up "Title Companies." (3) Call the first one, when they answer, simply say, "Customer service please." (4) When the next person answers, say "Hi, I need the construction date of a building" and they will ask you the address. Keep it short. Keep it professional. Some title companies are easier to do business with than others. I've been using First American Title here in LA.
